Monetaire looks nicely treated on the pick of his form and makes plenty of appeal at 9/1 in the 2.05 at Haydock today.
David Pipe’s charge was l.ast successful back in November 2014 when beating Solar Impulse at Newbury off a mark of 126.
He went on to finish a cracking second of 23 to Darna at the 2015 Cheltenham Festival off 138 and got put up to 143 for that effort.
Monetaire has been lightly raced since, havinghad just five starts, but showed that he reatined plenty of ability last tinme out at Stratford when a promsining third to Some Buckle off 134 folowing 491 days on the sidelines.
He has since been dropped 2lb and off 132 looks well weighted if building on that effort.
The yard also boasts a 27% strike rate at the track in the past 12 months and with Tom Scudamore in the saddle everything looks in place for a big run.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Monetaire (9/1 bet365, Paddy Power, Stan James, William Hill – BOG)
