Mostahel appeals at 12s

Posted on by Dave Metcalf

Mostahel has a progressive profile and makes plenty of appeal at 12/1 in the 3.00 at Newmarket today.

Richard Hannon’s the three-year-old came good at the third time os asking when easily landing a Wolverhampton maiden back in April by four lengths.

Mostahel was allotted and opening handicap mark of 93 on that back of that succes and shaped as if ahead of it when third to Danielsflyer on the Rowley Mile course at this venue.

After racing prominently and getting slightly outapced approaching the final furlong he rallied well to be beaten 2 1/2 lengths.

Mostahel now meets the winner on 8lb better terms and is also 12lb better off with Eqitraan who finished second.

That should be enough to see him turn the tables and after just four starts he remaisn unexposed and open to further progress.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Mostahel (12/1 bet365, BetVictor, Paddy Power, William Hill – BOG)
