Norwich can serve it up to Liverpool

Posted on by Tom Warrington

Norwich play host to Liverpool today (5.30pm KO, Live on ESPN) and look worth a punt at 12/5 in the draw/no bet market.

Paul Lambert’s side haven’t been at their best of late, and some shoddy defending cost them dear in their 2-0 defeat at Blakcburn.

However they are a far better side than they should there as they showed when in recent weeks when drawing with Everton and winning away at Spurs.

They also face a Liverpool outfit who are as hard to predict as the weather and have won only three of their last 15 Premier League matches.

Kenny Dalglish’s men have lost nine in that run and their failure to convert in front of goal was once again their downfall when going down 1-0 at home to West Brom last weekend.

OK, they have won more on the road (7) than they have at home (5).

But would you want to put your hard earned on them at odds-on to win this given how they have performed since New Year?

I certainly wouldn’t, and Norwich are more than capable of grabbing a share of the spoils at least.

In fact it would be no surprise to see them bag all three points, but rather than back them in the outright win market at 7/2 I would rather punt them at 12/5 in the draw/no bet market with 365  and have that added security for just a point less.
