Ode To Glory caught the eye last time out and looks decent each-way value at 25/1 in the 2.35 at Yarmouth today.
Rae Guest’s filly came good at the second time of askinga s a juvenile whne stayong on strongly to beat Tawfik in an 11-runner affair at Wolverhampton where she had the now 81-rated War Chief a further 1/2 length behind in third.
She was allotted an opening mark of 69 on the back of that success and ran as well as could be expected off it when fifth in a decent class 4 nursery at Newmarket behind the useful Desert Skyline.
Ode To Golry is now able to race in this class 6 affair off 6lb lower and comes into the race having shaped better than the bare result suggests last time out over course and distance when sixth to Chunkyfunkymonkey when she dwelt at the start and was denied a clear run before staying on to be nearest at the finish.
That was her second start of the campaign and she should now be fully tune up to do herself justice.
With Jane Elliott in the saddle taking off another 5lb with her claim she looks weighted to run a big race judged on her Wolverhampton win.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Ode To Glory (25/1 BetVictor, William Hill – BOG)
