Pairofbrowneyes has some strong form to his name and rates a solid bet at 11/4 in the 3.10 at Navan today.
Liz Doyle’s gelding made a winning reappearance at Punchestown back in November when digging deep to beat Pivot Bridge on soft ground off a mark of 114 and has since gone on to run with great credit in two hot handicaps.
In the first of those the six-year-old finsihed a cracking sixth of 24 to Katie T in the valuable Boylesports Hurdle at Leopardstown off a mark of 120, beaten just over 7 lengths.
Pairofbrowneyes backed that up with a solid third of 18 to Sort It Out at the same venue when keeping on to be beaten 10 lengths, and the winner ran a cracker to finish second in the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival earlier in the week.
That gives the form a very strong look in the context of this contest, and this looks a far easier task for the selection.
Pairofbrowneyes is also able to race off an uncnanged mark of 120, and this looks a golden opportunity for him to get back on the winning trail.
