Permission Granted a punt on handicap debut

Permission Granted looks worth a punt on handicap debut in the 12.20 at Catterick toay now stpped up in trip.

Rose Dobbin’s charge has failed to trouble the judge in three quick spins over hurdles, but shaped quite nicely in the last of those over 2m at Newcastle when a never nearer 11 1/2 length seventh of 14 to Jassas.

It was an effort which suggested there could be better to come when gpoing down the handicap route and the step up to 2m 4f looks sure to suit.

The second home that day has also come and and won since and an opening mark of 98 for Permissiin Granted looks more than fair.

He also hails from a yard in good form at present and unlike his rivals remains unexposoed and open to improvemnet in what looks a weak class 5 contest lacking any strength in depth.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Permission Granted (11/4 Stan James, William Hill – BOG)
