Qaffaal is on a handy mark at present and looks decent value at 7/1 in the 6.10 at Wolverhampton today.
Mick Easterby’s seven-year-old is a course winner who was last successful at Chelmsford
back in March where he scored by a head off 88.
Qaffaal went on to make the frame on three occassions off 91and now able to race off 89, just 1lb higher than when last victorious.
He also comes into the race oin the back of three solid efforts which suggest he is in good form an ready to go in again at any time.
In the last of those at Lingfield when fifth he was running on strongly from off the pace when denied a clear run and beaten just 1 1/2 lengths by Goring.
The booking of Oisin Murphy to partner hgim for the first time is an eye-cacthing one and with the stable in good form Qaffaal looks to have plenty going for him in a lobsided market dominated by Star Archer.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Qaffaal (7/1 Betfred, Stan James – BOG)
