Red Tornado caught the eye last time out and looks worth a wager at 7/1 in the 5.30 at Cheltenham today.
Dan Skelton’s five-year-old was highly progressive last year when winning five on the bounce.
In the last of those successes, Red Tornado showed a decent turn of foot to land a Listed class 1 handicap hurdle at Market Rasen off 129.
That form reads well in the context of this lower grade class 3 contest and the gelding comes into it on the back of an eye-catching staying on third to Valhalla at Taunton on his second start back from a break.
Red Tornado should now be spot on to do himself justice and although now running off a career high makr of 137 will relish the good ground and looks the type whi may well have more to offer.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Red Tornado (7/1 bet365, BetVictor – BOG)
