Right Touch is on a dangerous mark at present and looks worth a wager to land an overdue success in the 6.25 at Wiolverhampton today.
Richard Fahey’s gelding is on a losing run of 18 having no scored since landing a class 2 contest at Chester back in July 2016 off a mark of 95.
However he has run some solid races to make the frame of 99 and 98 in simlar grade affairs and been rated 102 at his best.
Right Touch was also far from disgraced last time out when a 1 1/2 length seventh of eight in a messy class 2 affair at Lingfield when forced to race wide and has since been dropped back 1lb.
He is now able to race off 87, the same as when runner-up in a class 3 at Lingfield two starts back when beaten just 1/2 a length.
It gives him major cliams from a handicapping perspective in this class 3 contest and he has a 21% strike rate in the grade.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Right Touch (5/1 Stan James – BOG)
