Sherman McCoy has a good record at Catterick and makes plenty of appeal at 8/1 in the 4.05 there today.

His last success came in this race 12 months ago where he held on gamely to score by 1/2 a length off a mark of 68.
The veteran is now able to race off the same rating, and his last three success have come off marks of 67, 68, and 68.
He is clearly now weighted to strike again, and Sherman McCoy has winning form on soft ground.
Another plus is that he has run well and won after a break, and everything looks in place for a big run at a track which clearly brings out the best in him.
