Six Strings worth a shot at 7s

Six Strings looks worth a wager at 7/1 in the 4.20 at Doncaster today.

Richard Fahey’s three-year-old has run well to make the frame in three of his four starts this season.

After finishing runner-up to Parfait on reappearance in a competitive 14-runner affair at Newmarket he did all his best work at the finish when a 2 length third in the Scottish Stewards’ Cup over 6f at Hamilton.

Six Strings was then far from disagraced when 10th of 16 over 6f at Goodwood from a poor draw and finsihed a fine 1/2 length third of 10 to Bertwhittle over course and distance.

He pulled hard in the early stages in the latter so in the circumstances did well to keep on strongly at the business end of affairs.

If settling better and buillding on that Six Strings looks capable of winning this off just 1lb higher.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Six Strings (7/1 Paddy Power – BOG)
