The first game on Sky Sports 1 today (1.30pm KO) sees Crystal Palace play host to Spurs and the vistors look a steal at a standout 4/5 with Coral to make their class tell and come away with all three points.
The home side are already favourites for relegation with the bookies and are without a key player in the shape of striker Glenn Murray.
They have also lost their playmaker in Wilfried Zaha who has moved to join the champions Man United, and despite the fact that Spurs will be without Gareth Bale they shoukd prove too strong for the Eagles.
Yes, Spurs did only win four of their 10 games without Bale last season compared to 25 wins in 44 games with him (all competitions) and they have only won two of their last 12 opening Premier League games (D4 L6).
But they proved themselves to be one of the best teams in the top flight last season when narrowly missing out on a top four finish, and are simply a class above their opponents if they bring their “A” game to the table this afternoon.
I certainly think they are entitled to be much shorter than the 4/5 on offer with Coral, and that price shoiuld be snapped up as it will surely have disappeared come kick-off time.
In the first goalscorer market I like the look of Emmanuel Adebayor at the 13/2 on offer with BetVictor and Stan James.
