Spurs bankers to silence Canaries

Posted on by Tom Warrington

Norwich play host to Spurs this evening (7.30pm KO, Live on Sky Sports 1) and the visitors look a solid bet at 4/5 to continue their good run and bag another three points.

Spurs have won five and lost none of their last six trips to Carrow Road in all competitions, and come into the game sitting in third place in the league following a solid 1-1 draw with Chelsea when hit by injuries.

Harry Redknapp’s men really should be too strong for the Canaries in a game which looks sure to produce goals.

Norwich are yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League this season, while Spurs have only once failed to find the net on their travels (at Man United).

That makes Spurs look a great bet at 4/5 with Paddy Power, Hills and Ladbrokes, and I can’t see that price being available come kick-off.

I fancy Adebayor, who netted against Chelsea, to open the scoring again at a general price of 9/2 and Spurs to go on and register a comfortable 3-1 success.

That scoreline can be backed at a huge looking 16/1 with Ladbrokes, and certainly represents value as most firms offer just 11s.
