Spurs have a solid home record and look worth a wager at 3/4 with BetVictor to further enhance it with victory over Swansea today (4pm, KO).

The Lilywhites have won nine and lost just one of their last 13 games at White Hart Lane, whereas Swansea have won just one of their last nine on the road and also failed to score in five of those matches.

Yes, they did only just edged in againt Crystal Palace in theirn opening game of the season but they put in a much improved performance when winning 5-0 in Europe in midweek and should prove too classy for their opponents.

Roberto Soldado opened his goal scoring account for Spurs at Palace and has now scored 11 goals in his last nine in league competition.

That makes him of obvious interest in the goalscorer markets, but at a best of 7/2 to net the opener and even money to net anytime he looks plenty short enough to me.

The one that I want to be on each-way in the first goalscorer market is Jan Vertonghen who scored in both of the Premier League games between the two sides last season and can be backed at a juicy looking 18/1 with bet365 and Paddy Power.
