Starlight Romance looks decent value at 9/1 in the 4.35 at York Today.
Richard Fahey’s filly scored in good style on seasonal reappearance at Beverley last year before finihsing a solid third to Battered over course and distance.
She then got back on the scoresheet when scoring at Chester off a mark of 83 before finding only Lualwai 3/4 of a length too good at the same venue off 87.
Starlight Romnace got put up to 90 for that effort and subsequently failed to shine in three starts.
However, she now retruns to action off 87 and that makes her look nicely treated on the pick of her form.
Starlight Romance also goes well fresh and it was quick ground when she showed a smart tunr of foot to score at Beverley.
She also has a 33% strike rate in the grade having won twice and been placed twice from six starts in class 3 company and has Sebastian Woods in the saddle taking off a handy 5lb with his claim.
Taking it into account Starlight Romance is running off a mark 1lb lower than when last successful and looks weighted to run a huge race.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Starlight Romance (9/1 Paddy Power – BOG)
