Tanarpino makes plenty of appeal at 13/2 in the 1.50 at Catterick today.
Jenny Candlish’s charge showed progressive form over the smaller obstacles in 2016, winning three times and also running well to finish fifth of 18 to Barney Dwan in a hot Grade 3 handicap hurdle at Sandown.
His last win came at Ludlow off a mark of 120 and he is now able to race in this class 4 affair off just 1lb higher.
He also comes tno the race having shaped as really well last time out when third at Doncaster.
That was his third run back from a break and he should now be spot on to do himself justice,
Tanarpino is also 1-1 over course and distance and has a 43% strike rate in the grade.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Tanarpino (13/2 bet368 – BOG)
