Corey Cadby will take on Jelle Klaasen in the first round of the Ladbrokes World Series of Darts Finals tonight, as Adrian Lewis faces Max Hopp in Glasgow.

The season-ending World Series of Darts Finals will see a 24-player field competing from November 3-5 at the Braehead Arena, competing live on ITV4 for £250,000 in prize money.

The top eight competing players from the 2017 World Series Order of Merit – headed by Scotland’s Gary Anderson and reigning champion Michael van Gerwen – are seeded through to Saturday’s second round in Glasgow.

However, Friday’s opening night will see a series of intriguing clashes following the tournament draw, which was made in Glasgow on Thursday evening by Ladbrokes Premiership footballers Mark Burchill and Kris Boyd.

Auckland Darts Masters finalist Corey Cadby, the reigning World Youth Champion, will face Dutchman Jelle Klaasen in arguably the tie of the round, although two-time World Champion’s meeting with German ace Max Hopp is also set to excite.

Last weekend’s European Championship finalist Rob Cross has been drawn with in-form Welshman Jonny Clayton, who won his maiden ranking title last month, while Premier League ace Dave Chisnall meets three-time TV semi-finalist Justin Pipe.

September’s Champions League of Darts winner Mensur Suljovic has drawn emerging star Chris Dobey, while former World Youth Champion Michael Smith takes on Belgian youngster Dimitri Van den Bergh.

September’s World Grand Prix finalist Simon Whitlock comes up against former Lakeside Champion Mark Webster, while Dutchman Jan Dekker takes on Plymouth’s Simon Stevenson.

Top seed Gary Anderson – who won the World Series events in Dubai and Perth earlier in 2017 – will face either Dobey or Suljovic in Saturday’s second round.

World Champion Michael van Gerwen will play either Hopp or Lewis, while Scottish ace Peter Wright – the German Darts Masters winner – comes up against either Pipe or Chisnall.

Auckland Darts Masters champion Kyle Anderson plays either Clayton or Cross, five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld meets Smith or Van den Bergh and James Wade faces Stevenson or Dekker.

World Grand Prix champion Daryl Gurney takes on either Webster or Whitlock, with UK Open finalist Gerwyn Price set to meet Cadby or Klaasen.
