The Organist scored in good style last time out and looks worth a wager at 7/1 in the 2.25 at Warwick today.
After being held-up off the pace, Oliver Sherwood’s seven-year-old stayed on strongly to forge clear close home and beat Forza Milan by 1 1/2 lengths in an 11-runner affair at Newbury.
The fourth home Boyhood, to whom she was conceiding 3lb and beaten 10 lengths, has since come out and scored at Cheltenham to give the form a boost.
It makes a 6lb rise look fair and The Organist’s revised rating of 139 is the same as when she finished a fine seventh of 17 to Apple’s Jade in the Grade 1 Mares’ Hurdle at last year’s Cheltenham Festival.
That is strong form in relation to this class 2 handicap and The Organist is 1-2 in the grade.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way The Organist (7/1 bet365, Coral – BOG)
