Tikkandemickey has slipped to a career low mark and looks worth a wager at 8/1 in the 3.30 at Carlisle today.
Raymond Shiels’ 11-year-old was last successful over course and distance 14 months ago when scoring by 1/2 a lenth off 107.
He went on to be placed twice over Cour and distance off 112 and is now able to race off 103.
It gives him a big chance from a handicapping perspective and he comes into the contest on the back of a plugging on fifth of 10 to Never up over CD and a respectable fourth – again over CD – to Un Guet Apens.
He now gas three runs uner his belt and should be spot on to do himself justice.
Tikkandemickey also goes well for Callum Bewley who takes off another 3lb with his claim and has winning form in testing conditions.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Tikkandemickey (8/1 BetVictor, Stan James – BOG)
