Traveltalk is back down to a handy mark and looks worth a punt at 14/1 in the 3.45 at Catterick today now eased in grade and retruned to the scene of his sole career success.
Brian Ellison’s charge opened his account over course and distance back in October when staying on strongly on good-to-soft ground to land a class 6 contest by a neck off a mark of 63.
He got put put up to 67 for that victory and has failed to trouble the judge in three runs following a 269 day break.
However, they have all been in class 5 company and he is now back down to a rating of 64 – just 1lb higher than when lst successful.
It gives him every chance from a handicapping perspective now dropped back down into class 6 company.
He also wasn’t knocked about last time out when fifth on the all-weather at Lingfield and better could be forthcoming now returned to the turf on ground which will hold no fears.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Traveltalk (14/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
