Taxiformissbyron is back down to a handicap mark she can exploit and is strongly fancied at 15/2 to do just that  and land the spoils in the 4.30 at Kempton today.

Michael Herrington’s filly was in good form in the early part of last year when bagging a hat-trick of successes on the polytrack, with the last of those wins coming at Wolverhampton where she slammed Aramda Bay easing down by 6 lengths off a mark of 58.

She cruised into the race that day and after leading on the bit a furlong from home shot clear to win as she liked.

The daughter of Byron was then beaten a nose at Lingfield when sent off 4/7 to complete the four-timer in a race which wasn’t run to suit off a mark of 64, and has since been mainly campaigned on the turf.

She managed to exploit her lower mark on that surface when scoring at Hamilton last September, and although she has been largely disappiting since and failed to get her head in front she has posteda  coupel od decent effeoirts to finish in the frame and her mark has dropped markedly.

The four-year-old now gets into this off a mark of 58 – the same as when registering her last runaway success on the polytrack – and also has the services of Jacob Butterfield in the saddle who takes another invaluable 5lb off her back.

She also returns to a track where she has won 2 of her 3 starts over today’s mile trip and it would be no suprise to see her bounce back and land what looks a winnable contest now that the handicapper has given her a chance.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Taxiformissbyron (15/2 BetVictor – BOG)
