United look cracking value at 3/1 with Boylesports and William Hill to beat arch rivals City in the Manchester derby at the Etihad today (1.30pm KO, Live on Sky Sports 1).

The Red Devils are starting to click under Louis van Gaal, and come into the game on the back of a well-earned 1-1 with league leaders Chelsea at Old Trafford last weekend.

They played some excellent attacking football and dominated proceedings in the first 45 minutes, and showed great reslience to fight back and score a late equaliser to secure a point.

A similar display is likely to see them cause City plenty of problems, especially as the home side come into the game having not won any of their last three games.

They have lost the last two of those, getting beat at West Ham in the league and dumped out of the Capital One Cup 2-0 by Newcastle in midweek.

David Silva and Yaya Toure both suffering injuries in the latter, and their liekly absence is a massive blow to the blues.

The Citizens also have a crucial Champions League game just three days after this and in their current form United have to be the bet to beat them and scure all three points – especially as they welcome back Wayne Rooney to the side after a three match ban.

Rooney is the top scorer in Manchester derbies, and has netted four in his last five Premier League appearances at the Etihad.

He will be choping at the but to make an impact in this, and looks massive at 11/4 with Coral in the anytime scorer market. That price should be snapped up.

In the correct score market, I am going to suggest split stakes on United winning 3-1 or 3-2 at odds of 33/1 respectively with William Hill and bet365.
