Voix D’eau looks worth an each-way wager at 18/1 in the 2.15 at Aintree today.
Harry Fry’s seven-year-old landed a competitive eight-runner class 1 handicap at Cheltenham last April when staying on well to beat Art Mauresque by 1 1/2 lengths off a mark of 145.
He went on to finish third at Haydock off 150 and third at Chepstow off 148.
Voux D’eau is now able to race in this this class 2 affair off 145 again and comes into the contest on the back of an improved effort when a keeping on 3 1/4 length third to Romain De Senam at Stratford.
It was a fine effort trying to give the progressive and well-weighted winner 6lb and a big step back in the right direction.
If building on it Voix D’eau looks weighted to run a big race.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Voix D’eau (18/1 Betfred, BetVictor, Paddy Power – BOG)
