Voix D’eau looks worth a wager at 9/2 to score an overdue success in the 2.40 at Worcseter today.

Harry Fry’s eight-year-old was last successfu1 in a class 1 handicap at Cheltenham back in 2016 when staying on well to beat Art Mauresque by 1 1/2 lengths off a mark of 145.

He went on to finish third at Haydock off 150 and third at Chepstow off 148.

Voix D’eau also ran well last May when runner-up at Market Rasen off 143 and when a keeping on 3 1/4 length third to Romain De Senam at Stratford in October off 145.

He is now able to race just 135, 10lb lower than when last victorious, and has run well yo make the frame off 2lb higher in his last two starts.

Voix D’eau also has the services in the saddle of highly promising claimer Aine O’Connor who takes another 7lb off his back and underfoot conditions to suit.

He also has a 29% strike rate in the grade having won twice and been placed four times in it from seven starts so this looks a good opportunity for him to belatdely get back on the scoresheet.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Voix D’eau (9/2 generally available – use BOG firms)
