Weekend Premier League Focus

Posted on by Sean Trivass

daily-sport-imageAfter a poor weekend last time round we hope to take advantage of some excellent odds on offer for the weekend’s games.

Our current rolling profit stands at £77.03 with just a couple of weeks left of the Premier League season.

The best bet this week is our Premier League Treble at 6.15/1 with bet365.

Premier League Treble – £10 returns £71.50

Everton vs Watford: It’s not often we select a Friday night game, but this is too good to pass up on. Despite losing last time out to Chelsea, Everton’s home record is phenomenal. They have won eight of their last nine home league games by more than a single goal, and Watford have lost five away games in a row, four of which have been by two or more goals.

Sunderland vs Swansea: Sunderland showed last weekend that they perform a lot better when the pressure is off. They are already relegated but managed a 2-0 win away to Hull, and considering they are up against a Swansea side without a win in seven away games such good odds for Sunderland to get something look too good to pass up on.

Bournemouth vs Burnley: Both of these sides have some serious defensive issues that they need to address in the summer. Spurred on by Josh King Bournemouth have scored in 11 of their last 13 home matches, but they have conceded in ten of those. Meanwhile Burnley have conceded in eight of their last 11 on the road but found the net themselves in nine of them, so clean sheets look unlikely on Saturday.

Premier League Banker: Everton -1.5 Asian Handicap – £20 returns £44

Everton may be in the midst of a fairly poor run of form but their performances are completely different at Goodison Park. Admittedly they were poor in their last home game against Chelsea, but playing the Premier League Champions elect and hosting a drab looking Watford side are completely difference.

They have scored 29 goals in their last nine home games and won eight of them by two or more goals, and they’re facing a Watford side who have lost ten of their last 13 trips away. The Hornets have lost five on the bounce away from home, failing to score in all of them and losing by two or more goals on four occasions, so odds of over evens for The Toffees to claim a comfortable victory look excellent value. Lets not forget that star striker Romelu Lukaku is looking to claim the Golden Boot as well, adding a bit more incentive to his play.
