Keene’s Point has dropped to a dangerous mark and with underfoot conditions holding no fears looks worth an each-way play at 16/1 in the 4.40 at Bath today.

The seven-year-old came good at thos time last year, scorimg in the mud at Hamilton off 57 before finishing third at the same venue off 63.

He also ran well on the final start off the campaign when a 3/4 length runner=up on soft ground at Yarmouth off 59.

Steph Hollinhead’s charge has struggled this season and only made the frame once in 10 starts, when third seconf time-up off 60.

However, that has resulted in the handicapper cutting Keeen’s point plenty of slack and he is now able to race off just 47.

That is a career-low and 10ln below hs last winning mark.

It makes him a big player on the pick of his form if bouncing back to anything like his best.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Keene’s Point (16/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
