Sew On Target is back down ton his last winning mark and looks worth a wager at 13/2 in the 2.45 at Kempton today now eased in grade.

Colin Tizzard’s gelding is a bold jumper who was last successful at Cheltenham back in December off a mark of 135 when making all and running on strongly to beat Astracad by 6 lengths in a class 2 contest.

The 10-year-old went on to perform with credit in hix nest three starts, including when eighth of 30 to Rajdhani Express in the class 1 Topham at Aintree off 142 and a solid third to La Bacardy at Market Rasen off 139.

Sew On Target is now able to race off 135 again, and that gives him every chance at the weights on the pick of his form.

Although he hasn’t been at his best in two starts at Cheltenham this season, they were both competitive class 2 contests and this class 3 affair is not as strong.

Connections are also putting up young jockey Paul O’Brien whose claim rtakes another 7lb off Sew On Target’s back, and taking it into account he is simply too well-treated to ignore in this line-up.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Sew On Target (13/2 Paddy Power – BOG)
