Whispering Harry has become dangerously well-teated and looks worth a wager in the 3.10 at Plumpton today now reunited with Richard Johnson.
Henry Oliver’s charge is on a long losing run having not scored since landing a class 3 contest at Taunton back in Janury 2015 off a mark of 120.
However, the eight-year-old has posted some solid efforts in defeat including when a 2 1/4 length runner-up to Ultragold in a class 3 at Newbury off a rating of 125.
Whispering Harry is now able to race in this class 4 contest off 107, his lowest rating in nearly four years, and that gives him major claims from a handicapping perspective on the pick of his form.
He also goes well for Johnson, who has won twice and been placed once on him in three starts, and is now back in the saddle for the first time since partnering him to victory in February 2014.
