Wigan Going Under at Goddison

Posted on by Des Sheridan

Everton isn’t a great place to be at the moment. The heartbeat of the midfield Arteta is gone and nobody has replaced him.

They were lucky to gain their only victory at Blackburn in a game that was predicated on penalties.

Everton have already lost at home to QPR and they have been unconvincing even if you include the home draw against Villa. Wigan have (only) lost their last two games but one was a meaningless Carling Cup match and the other was against Manchester City.

Three of their four league games so far have produced less than 2.5 goals The Latics have a very fair road record and only lost twice away to bottom half opposition last season although against this the have walked away from Goodison empty handed on three of their last four visits. Gohouri and Alcaraz are out for Wigan and Anichebe is on the long term list for Everton.

DAILY SPORT SAY – Wigan are massive at 7/1 with VCbet and we would be on the under side of the 2.5 goals market at a general 4/5
