Wily Fox has been running really well of late and looks a cracking each-way punt at 12/1 in the 5.20 Folkestone.
The four-year-old has only scored once in nine starts, but that win came off an official rating of 75 in a maiden on the all-weather at Lingfield and he has now been given a chance by the handicapper.
James Eustace’s gelding is now running off a career-low mark of 66, and given that he has run well to be placed on the turf off marks of 68 and 69 it gives him a cracking chance of getting back in the winners’ enclosure.
He looked slightly unlucky in running when being short of room and finishing fourth to Shesha Bear at Epsom last time out, but clearly remains in good heart and is definitely one to take seriously in this line-up.
With the going and trip ideal everything looks in place for a huge run, and the fact that he is tough and genuine and can usually be relied upon to run his race makes him an attractive each-way play at the odds on offer.
I would certainly have him in single figures and the 12/1 should be snapped up.
Recommended bet: 2pts each-way Wily Fox (12/1 Coral)
