saints and sinnersThe son of small hall promoter Steve Goodwin is to cut his teeth as a promoter at the tender age of just 18. Josh Goodwin will follow in the footsteps of his father and older sister Olivia when he stages his first pro show at London’s York Hall on March 8.

“This is something I have wanted to do since I was 15” Josh told DAILY SPORT Boxing “ I currently box myself as an amateur for Luton Academy but I see my future as a full time promoter. My father has really expanded but manages now over 30 boxers so his vision is to move more into the management side and I will be the promoter.”

The bill will be topped by “Saint” George Jupp fighting for the International Masters super-featherweight title against Georgian Gia Atenov.
