Zoravan has become well-treated and makes plenty of each-way appeal at 11/1 in the 4.00 at Southwell today.
Keith Dalgleish’s charge won at the track 12 months ago when scoring easily by 4 lengths off a mark of 68 and went on to score on the turf at Doncaster off 80.
He got put up to 85 after the latter and has failed to make the frame in nine subsequent starts.
However, he didn’t shape too badly last time out here when seventh of 10 after fluffing the start and being slowly away and has since been dropped another 2lb.
Zoravan is now able to race off just 7o and that makes him a big player at the weights on the pick of his form.
The blinkers also now go on for the first time and if they do the trick he is undoubtedly handicapped to run a big race.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Zoravan (11/1 Betfred, Paddy Power – BOG)
