This week we continue our series with the stars of Fans Only 2 documentary as we chat to top US pornstar Brandi Love and here is what she had to share with us all here at SPORT HQ.
Q1. What name would you like us to refer to you as? Brandi Love
Q2. Where are you from? I was born in Dearborn Michigan. Raised my family in North Carolina and now we live in Florida.
Q3. Age? 52
Q4. Do you have any tattoos, and if so how many hours have you put into them? I know there are those who dislike tattoos but I love them. I have four. I would say there about 16 hours invested into them.
Q5. Any piercings? I have traditional piercing in my ear lobes and a small stud piercing in my nose.
Q6. How did you get your started in the industry? My foray into the adult entertainment industry was a-typical.
My husband & I both had successful mainstream careers. I was working for Harley Davidson & Chris was the Vice President of a Biotech company.
We had been married for nearly 10 years at that point.
Then everything changed. My husband had a heart attack. While his cardiologist found that this was a stress induced event which left no permanent damage to the heart muscle, he did encourage him to consider a career change.
For the previous three years he flew an average of 240 flights a year and was home about 9 days a month. It just got to be too much.
He resigned from the company & cashed out his stock options ect. That left us with a reasonable investment egg and zero ideas for what we wanted to do.
Ultimately we decided to start a company called Grapevine Greetings, which created custom wine labels for special events as well as a commercial line which served essentially as greeting cards for wine bottles. Think of it this way, you are at a wedding reception and there is a bottle of red and
white wine on each table. The label would feature a photo of the bride and groom along with a greeting or some personal sentiment. The commercial line consisted of wine tags and labels that featured wine related quotes and a place for your own personal message and signature. That way the person receiving the bottle would always know who gave it.
The B2B was great, meaning we were doing well with wedding planners, wine shops etc. but we had no real ability to expand beyond what we could personally service. The revenues simply were not there to hire a sales team & this was our first attempt at building a business. Additionally, our online B2C
business was non existent and we did not understand why. We spent nearly $15,000 for a website, something we knew nothing about and everyone exited on the first page.
What we learned was that this gorgeous website was nothing more than giant images… huge images… averaging almost 4mb a piece & all linked together. In 2004 high speed access predominantly via DSL was just gaining traction so those on AOL, Earthlink, Juno and most others simply could not get our site to
load.. thus the challenges.
We began networking in Raleigh NC and were introduced to some people who truly knew how to develop and market websites. They developed a new Grapevine Greetings site for us and then came to us with a proposal.
To make a long story short, what they proposed was lucrative but required investment. It was also in the adult entertainment industry. After careful deliberation my husband and I formed and funded a new company and set out on this new.. and wild adventure.
At that time, the “solo model” site was very popular and the decision that had to be made was “Who would be our first model?” It took me about 2 seconds to say…. “What about me… what about us?”
My husband just about fell out of his chair!
The thing is / was… We had been sexually adventurous and in our version of an open relationship for years.. the only difference would be the cameras. I also knew I could trust me / us to have fun, show up for the shoots and take it seriously while having a great time. I knew we would protect our investment
and I was really turned on by the prospect of all this. I have always had a bit of an exhibitionist fetish in me!
In 2005 I put my marketing skills to work & landed a spot on The Howard Stern Show back when he was on E! The rest is history.
It did not take long before it made little to no sense keeping Grapevine Greetings alive. The revenues in adult were everything the financial proforma projected and more.
From that point on I made the decision to treat & manage this as my career… I have loved every second of it!
Q7. How long have you been in the business? 22 years at this point.
Q8. What are some of your previous projects? I’ve had the good fortune to be involved in a number of great mainstream and adult projects. I have been on a number of TV shows such as The Tyra Banks Show, Howard Stern, Penn & Teller’s : Bullshit and even some conservative shows like the Larry’s Elders show. I’ve written for The Federalist, published a book and have been on The OnlyFans TV Show This is Fire. I am very honoured to have been under contract with the Vixen Media Group and hope to return to their family once I’m healed up from the boating injury. I genuinely adore those guys.
Q9. How did your appearance in Fans Only come about? Tommy Gunn & I go all the way back to my very first scene with a pro performer. He was my first. I actually hired Tommy as pro talent for my website. Since then we’ve worked together on other scenes and have kept in contact routinely over the last 22 years. He and Joel reached out to see if Chris & I might be interested in the Fans Only project. The answer was an emphatic yes! 
Q10. Tell us more about how you think Fans Only is changing or has changed the perception of the Ault Industry? I’m not sure if any documentary can change the perception of an entire industry. And to be honest, I’m not sure I want it to. I like being the rebels. If Rock Stars became tame guys pushing strollers the magic & mystique would be gone… they wouldn’t be rock stars any longer.
What I love to see is that performers are being humanized. We are individuals not a collective. Some of us are talented actresses, others are musicians, cooks, real estate investors etc. Some of us have raised families and are involved in our communities. Some genuinely party like Porn Stars while others sip wine and watch the sun set. Each of us is as varied, flawed and awesome as every civilian. We each have a story. Just like everyone else.
That’s what’s getting through. I think we need more of that nowadays. More humanity. Not less.
Q11. Do you have any upcoming projects? Other than shooting for my platforms, my main focus is getting completely rehabilitated from the boating injuries. It was a severe incident involving a negligent boat captain in Greece. I nearly died and can’t believe they saved my leg. The doctors at Hygeia Hospital in Athens are world class.
My goal is to get back into Pro-Shooting shape by Autumn 2026 and shoot my first scene for Wifey sometime in September / October.
Q12. What type of music do you listen to and who is your favourite band or artist? It depends on the time of day and season lol. My taste in music is incredibly varied. We start every morning listening to classical music. I love Vivaldi, Bach , Scarlatti , Corelli etc.
When we are in the kitchen it’s almost always Jazz. Vince Guaraldi , Katz , Stan Getz , Art Pepper and some of the newer Jazz like Boney James , Richard Elliot , Mindi Abair etc.
At my core however, I’m an 80’s girl & love Rock n Roll! It’s impossible to say who my favorite band is because there are so many I love listening to. I had a serious infatuation with Duran Duran growing up. But I listen to everything from Simon & Garfunkel to Led Zeppelin to Tool.
In the gym.. it’s a steady stream of Korn , Godsmack, Tool, Ramstein, Metallica and Chevelle.
Oh.. and suck it.. I LOVE Nickelback!
Q13. Do you have any hobbies? Many! When I do retire many years from now… I’ll be able to stay busy and very happy! I love to be out in nature. Hiking, fishing, gardening etc. I love to cook and have an obsession with finding or cultivating the perfect Rose’ wine. I’m a college football super nut and love hockey. I also spend a lot of time in the fitness world. I spend a lot of time in the gym as well as doing yoga, pilates etc. I have been self testing natural alternatives to all sorts of female health and beauty challenges.
I could easily fill 7 days/week with my hobbies lol!
Q14. Favourite sports and who is your favourite team or sports person? This one everyone knows…. Go Blue! Michigan Wolverines.
Q15. Favourite type of movie and favourite all-time movie? I tend to like intense movies in the crime drama or fantasy niche’s. My all time favorite movie is The Godfather I , followed by The Godfather II and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. But I watch the Harry Potter movies over and over and over again lol!
Q16. Favourite type of food and favourite meal? Anything home cooked. I am a huge health foodie. Chris & I spend some of our most cherished time together in the kitchen. We cook everything from Thai to Greek to Spanish and a ton of seafood and steaks. We are always looking to create meals using fresh farm to table ingredients prepared in a healthy way that is still packed with flavor.
Q17. Favourite alcoholic drink? Wine. Then wine. Then wine. I’m obsessed with wine. Specifically Roseblood from Château d’Estoublon or Les Clans, Garrus & Rock Angel from Château D’Esclans.
Q18. Your No.1 inspiration in life? My husband. You will never find a more loyal, loving, curious, caring and ferocious human on earth.

Q20. Craziest, wildest or kinkiest place you’ve ever had sex? The wildest and most exciting places have both been in public. My husband & I hooked up with a random couple in a booth at Drai’s in Las Vegas. And then there is the Blacked scene where I sucked Jason Loves cock on the street… that is still one of the hottest moments I’ve had in a scene.
Q21. Do you prefer to make love or f**k? Making love … romance … intimacy is what happens every day. It’s holding hands in the car or on a walk. It’s holding the door open for me or letting me into the car and closing the door after I’m in. It’s sitting and talking with me as the sun sets. It’s a hug for no reason or playful banter as I’m getting ready. It’s flowers just because. It’s in the moments between sex where love is made.
And when it comes to sex…. That’s where I want it primal. I want to be his drug. I want him addicted. I want him to crave me as passionately 10 years from now as he did 10 years ago.
By the time we get to sex, the making love has already happened. Now it’s my turn to blow his mind. And he likes it nasty!
