The camp wakes up ready to take on the day, but one campmate returns with unexpected news.
“Hi guys, I’ve just got something to tell you all,” they announce.
“I didn’t feel very well this morning… and the medics have advised I can’t return to camp. I’ve got to go home.”
“I don’t want to go. I’m absolutely gutted. I wanted to finish.”
The rest of the camp is in shock, but offers their encouragement.
After the campmate departs, the remaining celebrities sit and reflect on the unexpected reality of there now only being eight campmates left.
CAMPMATES FORM NEW PAIRS AND TAKE ON THE RANCID RUN
Scarlett receives an announcement inviting all campmates to the trials area.
Ant & Dec greet them with major news. Dec announces, “For the next few days, you’ll be taking on trials and challenges in pairs. Your fate going forward will depend on how well you perform during each trial in that pair.”
Ant then explains the partner selection process. “You’re each going to take a stone from this bag. If you pick a red stone that means you get to choose your partner. If you pick a white stone, you have to wait to be picked.”
Mo selects a red stone and chooses Harry. Jimmy chooses Adam. Ashley chooses Scarlett. Craig and Sinitta remain, forming the final pair.
“Let battle commence,” Dec says, before delivering the shocking consequence that the pair that finishes in last place in this trial will be sent home immediately.
Ant details the trial, “This is Rancid Run. One half of the pair will be locked inside the cage at the end retrieving cogs from an abacus, using only their tongue. Once you’ve got a cog, all you’ve got to do, pass it to your partner.”
Dec continues, “Once your partner has the cog, they will make their way through the Rancid Run to the box at the end and place the cog on top of the box. Only when the cog is on the box, can your partner start working on retrieving the next cog. There’s five cogs to collect.”
ADAM AND JIMMY’S FALL OUT CAUSES TENSION

The trial starts with the sound of the vuvuzela. While the other celebrities spring into action, Jimmy doesn’t move.
Ant & Dec try to encourage him, but Jimmy stays frozen.
“Boys, I don’t think I’ve got it in me,” he says.
After Adam successfully moves the first cog through the abacus, the trial is brought to an unexpected stop when Jimmy says “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here” sparking an argument between Jimmy and Adam.
“So, what are we doing now?” Ashley asks as Ant & Dec inform the celebrities that the trial is suspended and they must exit the area.
Jimmy and Adam continue their heated discussion, while the rest of the campmates watch on.
Their disagreement leads the other campmates to make an important decision, which affects one person’s fate in camp.
