David comes to her aid and helps her stand up and climb back into the hammock and order is restored.

“You know what, Gemma? We were nearly crying over here missing our kids, I’m on top of the world now,” Scarlett says after composing herself.

“David Haye came to my rescue,” Gemma says. “I’m winning at life!”

TWO NEW CAMPMATES ARRIVE AT KINGS CROC STATION

Scarlett reads out an announcement inviting all campmates to Kings Croc Station.

Down there, Ant & Dec greet them: “Camp life as you know it is about to change. From today, you will be split into two kingdoms: The Lions and The Rhinos.

“Over the next few days you will be competing head-to-head in trials and challenges. Only the winning kingdom will eat dinner. The losers will survive on rice and beans.”

Ant continues, explaining they are also competing for pennants, and the team that accumulates the most will be taken on a safari to see all of South Africa’s wonderful animals and enjoy a tasty bush banquet.

“Every good kingdom needs a king,” Dec says. “So it’s time to welcome two new campmates…”

The Royal Express pulls into the platform, and the campmates excitedly guess who’s inside the carriage.

One at a time, Jimmy Bullard and Harry Redknapp disembark the train and take their places on two thrones.

“I give you your new monarchs! Harry Redknapp, the Lion King, and Jimmy Bullard, the Rhino King!” Ant says.

He informs the new monarchs that their first role is to choose their subjects, so they take it in turns to create their new teams.

After the kingdoms are decided, Ant instructs everyone to head back to camp where they may notice some changes.

THE NEW TEAMS GO HEAD TO HEAD AT THE WICKED WATERING HOLE

The two kingdoms barely settle into their new camps before being notified that the next trial, Wicked Watering Hole, is imminent.

Both teams are instructed to select two representatives to head to the trial area. The chosen campmates, plus their kings Harry and Jimmy, make their way to the trial.

At the Wicked Watering Hole, Ant tells competitors: “You are competing against each other and at the end of the trial, the winners will earn a precious pennant and also feed their kingdom tonight.”

The challenge seems simple. “Buried in the watering hole are golden nuggets. Once you dig around and find a nugget, all you need to do is make your way back and place them into your baskets.”

The teams have ten minutes to find as many golden nuggets as possible, which vary drastically in size. The team whose bowl weighs the heaviest at the final whistle is crowned the victor.

But, in true I’m A Celebrity… style, there’s more. Adding an extra layer of difficulty, all four celebrities are tethered to a bungee rope.

The trial begins with the piercing blare of the vuvuzela.
