At the end of a busy day, Harry sheepishly walks back into camp with one final announcement.
Pretending to read from a board, he informs the camp that they must all prepare to leave for another trial called Prison of Hell. Nearly stumbling over his words, he elaborates with a dramatic story of them having to find keys to release themselves from their prison.
How long will it take before the celebrity campmates realise they’re being pranked by Harry Redknapp.
MO TAKES ON TERMITE TERROR
Today in camp, it’s Ashley’s birthday.
Reading the morning announcement, Jimmy instructs the camp to choose one campmate to take on the trial Termite Terror.
Mo and Ashley both volunteer.
Allowing Ashley to put her feet up on her birthday, the campmates choose Mo to take on the trial so he heads down to Termite Terror.
There, Ant instructs Mo: “You need to make your way into the termite mound and down into the nest below. Once you’re down there, your mission is simple: you must dig, crawl and scramble through the tunnels, collecting stars as you go.”
Mo must be careful as he navigates the treacherous tunnels filled with critters, snakes and plenty of surprises.
“Never give up, never give up,” Mo chants to himself between screams.
BALANCE OF POWER THROWS EVERYONE OFF
Birthday girl Ashley has another announcement for camp.
She says, “Celebrities, it’s time for today’s challenge, Balance of Power. You must all get ready to leave camp now.”
At the challenge area in the South African bush, Ashley reads the instructions.
“Celebrities, in front of you are two pits and eleven balance paddles. You must each take hold of a paddle and keep it steady to prevent your ball from falling into the pit. When you drop your ball, you are eliminated. The last person standing wins.”
The celebrities position themselves behind their paddles and the challenge begins. While some adopt peculiar techniques, they quickly realise it’s an endurance challenge rather than one of skill.
As night falls, most celebrities are still standing, balancing balls on their paddles with focus as the eliminated campmates try to distract them from the sidelines.
The group makes a unanimous decision to throw the game by dropping their paddles and letting one person win.
But will everything go to plan?
