Ant & Dec enter the camp to remind the celebrities that the public will decide who is crowned their I’m a Celebrity… Legend in a live show this Friday.
They then announce a shock twist: today, the celebrities themselves will decide who goes home. The celebrities exchange stunned looks.
Immune from elimination after winning the most recent trial, Ashley is invited to join Ant & Dec. She is told that she must choose one celebrity to save, who will then pick another to save, starting a chain.
Who will be the last celebrity standing and therefore sent home immediately?
ASHLEY AND SCARLETT FACE THEIR FEARS IN SNAKES & LADDERS
Scarlett and Ashley face today’s trial, Snakes & Ladders, with Ashley especially determined to conquer her phobia of snakes.
Ashley says, “I grew up in the desert and we have snakes everywhere. When you see them, you jump, you’re scared… I had one chase me in the pool when I was a kid and that really scared me. I feel like I’m in a place right now where I want to prove to myself that I can do this and I’ve got my girl by my side.”
A nervous Ashley and Scarlett join Ant & Dec in front of a huge, upright snakes and ladders board.
Scarlett jokes, “This is a little bit of an upgrade from the normal family board game.”
Ant jokes it’s the Saturday Night Takeaway girls together and they all sing the theme tune.
Ant & Dec reveal it’s Snakes & Ladders with a difference. One celebrity will be in an hourglass, rolling the dice whilst the other player is the human counter moving through the board.
They then tell Ashley and Scarlett they should always remember the following rules:
“A ladder is fine, because up you’ll climb.”
“Land on a blue, go back two.”
“Land on a red, bugs on your head!”
Dec then jokes, “And land on a snake, put your hand in a hellhole and try and get the star… We couldn’t make that one rhyme.”
One campmate, close to their limit, considers saying those fateful words… “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”
Will they be able to push through, face their fears and win those desired meals for camp?
