Here is the last Q&A with LOVE ISLAND: ALL STARS winners 2026 Samie Elishi and Ciaran Davies who came from behind in the betting at 3/1 to be crowned the winners.
How does it feel to win?
Ciaran: “It really still hasn’t sunk in.”
Samie: “It feels surreal – anyone there could have won. I feel like we won a week ago though. A mad bonus and obviously really lovely – buzzing. I was so shocked!”
Ciaran: “I thought we’d be 5th or 4th…when it kept climbing it was like, ‘Oh ok!’ Up there as the last two couples we were saying it’s going to be Zac and Millie.”
Samie: “Yeah, I thought it would be Millie again, double win! Really didn’t expect it.”
Ciaran: “That’s why I was so shocked, that’s how I thought it was going to go.”
Why do you think the public voted for you to win?
Ciaran: “We stayed in our own lane, we didn’t go and cause huge problems in the Villa.”
Samie: “Maybe we’re relatable, real people? I like to think so. Very true to ourselves.”
Ciaran: “Yeah, the way we were with each other, that’s maybe why we got the votes for the win. Thank you to anyone who voted so much for voting, it was a surreal moment. Supporting us on that mad, mad journey. Me and Samie will just keep doing what we’re doing when we are back home.”

What will you do with the money?
Samie: “Mine’s going towards my house deposit, how boring!”
Ciaran: “Mine’s staying in the bank to look at a house or invest it. It’s got to be done.. and a little holiday.”
Samie: “Nashville – the Americans are going to meet us there!”
How will the distance between you work?
Ciaran: “It’s not too long – two hours on the train. I go to London often. I don’t think London / Wales is a problem.”
Ciaran adds: “Me and the American lads, Airbnb for a month. See how it is, see if I enjoy London and see property for London, see if it’s a place I could move to.”
Who are you nervous about meeting from each other’s friends/ family? Whose opinion matters the most about you as a couple?
Samie: “The rugby lads!”
Ciaran: “I’ll talk to anyone! I’m not nervous at all. And Samie’s nan… that’s the one that’ll mean the most. All of your family as well.”
Samie: “Your mum, sister, your dad. You’re quite a close family.”
Ciaran: “They’ll love you!”
What is it that you like about each other so much? What’s your favourite thing about each other?
Ciaran: “The banter we have. We just wind each other up all the time. Many other things as well but that’s the main thing. I can just have a laugh.”
Samie: “Maturity as well. Especially in there. I was tested loads with what was going on with everyone and Ciaran always spoke to me in a way that calmed me down.”
What’s the thing you’re most excited to do as a couple in the real world?
Samie: “Get an Indian takeaway.”
Ciaran: “Yeah, chicken korma!”
Samie: “Chicken korma as well! So excited for that.”
Ciaran: “Normal things as well. Sitting in bed watching a movie.”
Samie: “Yeah, going for a drive.”

Ciaran what are you excited about showing Samie in Wales?
Ciaran: “Barry Island is what Samie’s most excited about because of Gavin and Stacey – Nessa’s arcade. To be honest I just want to show her what it’s about. How lovely it is, how nice it is, how nice the people are. That’s the most important thing and.. the rugby club as well.”
Samie – did you feel completely supported by Ciaran in the Villa?
Samie: “He supported me at all times actually. I felt really supported in there. Whatever I was going through.”
Samie – are you sick of hearing about pies/ do you hope to never discuss a pie again?
“I never want to see a pie again in my life, or speak about one. Pie is done.”
What’s your lasting/ favourite memory from this series?
Ciaran: “Samie’s re-coupling speech. That’s what comes to mind first.”
Samie: “That’s a good one! It’s so hard, there’s been loads. A time on the daybeds when we kissed and it actually felt like we weren’t in the Villa, felt like just us. I really like that moment.”
Any trips to the US with everyone planned?
Samie: “Yeah, our plan to go Nashville – Zac, Millie are coming. Yamen and Whit. Carrington and Helena will probably end up meeting us there. We want to all get cowboy hats and cowboy boots made – real ones. Personalised, proper ones. Go to loads of country music bars.”
Ciaran: “Spot on!”
Samie: “It’s going to be so fun.”
Ciaran – does Samie need to learn Welsh?
Ciaran: “Nah, she doesn’t. I hardly know any Welsh…. I know little bits. She says cwtch… so I’m happy with that.”
