First of all, everyone is excited about BKB 47 in Leeds next Saturday.
It has to be one of the best bills we have ever put together.
BKB 47 includes two fights that could top the bill anywhere around the world.
The clash between Paulie Malignaggi and Tyler Goodjohn has been getting a lot of press attention this week as it pits legends of gloved and bareknuckle boxing against each other.
We will see who comes out on top in the trigon.
And Dan Podmore-Marko Martinjak has fight of the year written all over it.
If you were putting together a list of he top 10 fights in bareknuckle boxing – or the whole of combat sports in fact –their names would feature prominently.
The proof is there on You Tube for all to see.
Marko had that unforgettable trilogy against Jarome Hatch and how about Dan’s two fights with pal Ryan Barrett for drama?
They were all classics and we expect to see another next weekend.
Both have been on the floor, hurt and come back swinging – and won!
We also announced BKB 49 this week.
That goes ahead in Cardiff on December 5 and is topped by Liam ‘RocKy’ Rees defending his world super-welterweight championship against the Filipino phenomenon Rolando Dy.
Liam is making his second defence of the belt – and Rolando is coming off a high-profile win.
There was huge media interest in his fight against Roberto Duran jr in Florida in May – and Rolando came out on top with a three-round stoppage.
That has led to a shot at Liam in what’s sure to be a memorable fight,
There’s also BKB 47 in South Florida to look forward to on November 22.
That features the pound-for-pound No 1 Lorawnt T ‘Smash’ Nelson in a rematch against Barrie Jones and heavyweight champion Gustavo Trujillo defends his belt against former champion Tony Johnson jr.
We are also putting together the first shows of 2026 so there’s plenty for fans of the most exciting combat sport in the world to look forward to!
Until next week
