Cuba has dominated amateur gloved boxing for decades and produced many world professional champions as well.
Now they are looking to take over bareknuckle boxing !
Gustavo Trujillo – ‘The Cuban Assassin’ defends his world heavyweight championship against Australian legend Lucas ‘Big Daddy’ Browne and there’s another Cuban in world-title action on ‘The Four Kings’ show.
Jordan Fuentes gets a shot at the super-cruiserweight championship vacated by Marko Martinjak – and he meets an opponent from another proud fighting nation.
Julian Fernandez is flying the flag for Mexico.
Mexico is currently without a world champion in BKB and Julian looks to change that when he faces Jordan.
Fernandez earned his crack with a one-round blast out of veteran Kevin Greenwood.
Wales is another fighting country represented on BKB 48.
Barrie Jones – ‘The Welsh Wrecking Machine’ – meets Nicolas ‘Cub’ Hawkins in a fight that pits the light-heavyweight and cruiserweight champions against each other and Ash Williams is another proud Welshman in action.
He can clinch at the lightweight championship with victory over Jorge Bargallo.
Jorge was beaten by lightweight champion Jarod Grant last time out and Jarod is also on BKB 48.
He defends against Jon Barnard.
Last time Jarod boxed in South Florida, he pulled off one of the knockouts of the year so expect fireworks next Saturday night.
There’s a clash of heavyweight fans’ favourites on BKB 48 as well.
Isaac Villaneuva is a former champion and Jarome Hatch is enjoying a year to remember.
Jarome went into 2025 on the back of three straight losses and has had three straight KOs this year to set up this heavyweight eliminator.
