Fourteen all-action fights in London brought to you by the top bareknuckle boxing company on the planet.
We return to the O2 Arena for BKB 51 for a show that features six debutants, a Hall of Fame veteran and the knockout specialist who believes he has the beating of the one and only Oleksandr Usyk!
Only a handful of fighters can say they have had 20 professional bareknuckle boxing matches and Scott McHugh adds his name to that list on Saturday night.
The O2 Arena was where he made his debut for us, way back in September, 2018.
Scott stepped in at a few days’ notice to face Tony Lafferty – and got put down twice in the first round!
Scott picked himself up to push Tony to a points decision and that was the start of a career that’s brought him British and world belts, a trip to Florida, a place in the Hall of Fame and more.
The 19-fight record on BoxRec shows Scott had a points win over Martin Reffell in September, 2022 – and they do it all over again on Saturday night.
That promises to be one of the highlights of a show topped by Marko Martinjak defending his bridgerweight title against Isaac Villanueva.
Isaac is a former world heavyweight champion who’s earned this shot with wins over Eric Olsen and Jarome Hatch.
Marko had an incredible trilogy against Jarome – winning 2-1 – and has won his last 6 fights by KO.
His last five opponents have all fallen inside the opening round – including Dan Podmore in their jaw-dropping one-round shoot out last October in Leeds.
Marko was down inside the opening 20 seconds and got up to win in 91 seconds and take away Dan’s world bridgerweight championship.
Marko fancies he could beat Oleksandr Usyk in the trigon.
That’s what he told reporter Gareth A Davies the other week.
If you want to see how good Marko is, either get a ticket for Saturday night or tune in on TalkSport’s YouTube channel,VICE Sports, Fuse TV and BEin Sport.
Enjoy the show
