CASHIN completes Rovers switch

Blackburn Rovers confirm the loan signing of Brighton & Hove Albion defender 24 yo Eiran Cashin.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international centre half, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Birmingham City, will now spend the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign here at Ewood Park.

A left-footed defender with vast Championship experience, Cashin started his career at Derby County, progressing through the Rams’ ranks before going on to make 144 first team appearances.

After helping Derby win promotion from League One in 2023-24, keeping 21 clean sheets in the process, Cashin made a big-money move to Brighton in January 2025, signing a five-and-a-half-year deal at the Amex Stadium.British Sex Contacts | Sex Contacts | Swingers

Cashin made two substitute appearances for the Seagulls in the Premier League last season, before joining Birmingham City on loan in July.

Cashin made 13 appearances for the Blues this season and now becomes Rovers’ first signing of the January transfer window, adding to Valerien Ismael’s defensive options for the rest of the 2025-26 Championship campaign.

He joins subject to approval from the relevant governing bodies and could make his Rovers debut this Sunday in their FA Cup third round tie at Hull City.
