Bookmakers make Julian Clary the clear favourite to win celebrity Big Brother, and he is now a top priced 11/8 with Boylesports, Ladbrokes, and Stan James.
The camp comic admitted this week that “everyone” had advised him against doing the reality series, from his parents to his pals but said he had decided to take part because they “pay a lot of money!”.
Well the money is certainly pouring on Julian to be crowned King of the house, and he is as short as 6/5 with a couple of bookies.
His only real rival according to the betting is former Spandau Ballet singer turned actor Martin Kemp, who is a top priced 5/2.
It’s then 9/1 Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, while bet365 go a best of 11/1 about Coleen Nolan. That looks plenty short enough for former singre and Loose Woman presenter as she is up for the next eviction.
Ex Corrie star Julie Goodyear, better known as barmaid Bet Lynch, can be backed 12/1 to win with Sky Bet but after her fruit sucking antcis earlier in the week I reckon you would have to be bananas to back her!
It looks to be a straight head-to-head between Clary and Kemp, and at the odds on offer the latter appeals as the valeu bet at this stage.
Samantha Brick, Danica Thrall and Coleen Nolan are all up for the next eviction, and the former is favourite at a best price of 5/6 with bet365 to get the boot.
Danica is a 7/4 shot with Ladbrokes, while BetVictor go a best of 13/2 about Coleen.
Brick, who has about as much personality as her surname, looks a shoe-in to be shown the door and the 5/6 on offer should be snapped up.
