Boisdale Canary Wharf, hosted the 2019 Boisdale Music Awards this week, celebrating some incredible music from around the world.
The event was hosted by Boisdale Patron of Music Jools Holland and recently appointed Global Ambassador for the Puglia region of Italy, Nancy Dell’Olio. The awards were attended by a sell out audience of keen music lovers, celebrities, who included Megan Barton Hanson of the 2018 hit reality show Love Island and American actor Kelsey Grammer & various fellow musical artists singer-songwriter Lisa Maffiaand Mutya Buena of Sugababes fame, Toploaders Joe Washbourn and Daniel “Dan” Hipgrave of Toploader and Andrew Fletcher .
The awards ceremony was peppered with some incredible live performances, with most of the winners performing for the eager masses … our highlights included Dawn Penn performing her hit “No No No”, Judi Jackson singing with fellow winner Soweto Kinch and an emotionally charged performance by RJ Gibb, son of Bee Gee’s legend Robin Gibb .
