I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV for it’s 13th series on Sunday, with another batch of celebrities will be leaving their beautiful homes, families and luxuries behind as they enter the Australian jungle.

The 10 celebrities heading into the jungle for the new series are Rebecca Adlington, Steve Davis, Kian Egan, David Emanuel, Joey Essex, Laila Morse, Lucy Pargeter, Alfonso Ribeiro, Amy Willerton and Matthew Wright.

Snakes, rats and all manner of creepy crawlies will form part of the celebrities’ daily lives – but how will they cope with sharing the camp with these creatures? Can they handle the meagre rations? And how will they get on with their fellow campmates?

Ant and Dec will return as the show’s hosts, giving us all the gossip from the jungle and overseeing those infamous Bush Tucker Trials.

Last year Charlie Brooks was crowned queen of the jungle but which celeb will win the hearts of the viewers in 2013?

Here’s our guide to all the contests with the best odds available:

Age: 21

Relationship status: Single

Best Odds: 40/1 Coral, Paddy Power

Miss Universe GB model Amy Willerton admits she would love to find love under the jungle stars.

Smiling, Amy says: “I am completely and utterly single. I have no idea who is going in the jungle but I am going in knowing I might meet someone in there.

“If I meet someone in the jungle who is right, then who knows what will happen…!

“But I am really looking forward to it all as it is going to be such a challenge.

“When I first got the call to see if I would be interested, I was really shocked, scared and excited as it is such an intense thing. But I am 21 and I am going to throw myself into everything.”

And the 21-year-old, who has jetted in from Moscow where she was competing in the global Miss Universe modelling competition to join I’m A Celebrity, has also promised to give her fellow campers lessons on how to strut themselves along the catwalk as she pledges to wear plenty of bikinis during her stint in the jungle.

“I have spent the three weeks leading up to the jungle strutting and posing on the catwalk for Miss Universe in Moscow,” she declares. “It is watched by 110 million people and your walk has to be flawless. And so yes, of course I am up for showing everyone how to model, just as I am wearing a bikini. It will be nice, though, to strip back, wear no make-up and be completely natural.”

Rebecca Adlington

Age: 24

Relationship status: Engaged

Best Odds: 10/1 generally available

She may be an Olympic Gold medallist but Rebecca Adlington reckons living in the celebrity jungle is going to be one of the toughest challenges of her life.

The 24-year-old – who won two gold medals in the 400m and 800m at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games plus two bronze in London last year – admits she is worried how she will fare coping with lack of food, boredom levels and snakes crawling under her bed, not to mention the dreaded trials.

“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity,” she replies. “It’s a chance for me to do something completely different in my life.

However she added: “I am not going in the jungle to win it. I will be really pleased if I get half way. That is my target.

Steve Davis Age: 56 Relationship status: Long-term relationship Best Odds: 11/2 Coral, Stan James

As six times former Snooker World Champion, Steve Davis likes to win – but even he isn’t sure whether the creepy crawlies will get the better of him or not.

Laughing, the 56-year-old, who has won more professional titles in the sport than any other player, explains he has decided to take part in I’m A Celebrity because he wants to find out if he can really handle jungle life or not.

“Many people lead comfy lives these days so a little bit of deprivation is perhaps good for the soul,” says Davis. “Like many viewers, I would like to know, faced with a plate of animal innards or a cockroach filled space helmet, whether I could handle it.”

Steve has vowed to tackle every challenge and says he is definitely planning to take on the role of joker.

Kian Egan

Age: 33

Relationship status: Married

Best Odds: 7/1 generally available

As a former member of the chart-topping band, Westlife, Kian Egan is used to travelling around the world, but he admits the hardest thing about taking part on I’m a Celebrity is being separated from his son.

The pop star reveals he is going to find it incredibly tough not being able to see or speak to Koa, who turns two in December, and he isn’t sure if he will be able to keep his emotions in check or not.

The loving dad of one says: “Without a shadow of doubt, the hardest thing is going to be being away from my boy.

As for whether he will do absolutely anything to be crowned King of the jungle, Kian insists he definitely does not have a game plan.

David Emanuel Age: 60 Relationship status: Divorced Best Odds: 40/1 Coral, Hills, Paddy Power

He successfully fought prostate cancer last year and now Royal Fashion Designer David Emanuel wants to see if he can survive I’m A Celebrity.

Talking movingly about his fight with the killer disease last year, the gregarious 60-year-old explains it is going to be a personal challenge to see if he can hack living it rough it in the jungle.

He says: “Going on I’m A Celebrity is a personal challenge. This time last year, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was a huge shock. I had no symptoms at all. It was a simple tip-off by my step-mother to say my father might have some problems. The alarm bells rang. I went straight in for a blood test and I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer.

“I was in hospital for three days and I had key hole surgery. It was an eight-hour operation. I have had a blood test since and it was 0.00001. I was extremely lucky. It was early diagnosis.

“And so sometimes you have to rise to the challenge, I survived cancer. Can I survive the jungle?”

Joey Essex

Age: 23

Relationship status: Single

Best Odds: 7/4 fav Betfred, BetVictor

As one of the nation’s most popular reality TV stars, Joey Essex is pretty used to playing out his love life in front of the cameras and so as he prepares to enter the camp, he hopes there will be a ‘beautiful’ and single female contestant joining him.

And The Only Way Is Essex star has vowed to chat up a celebrity if she catches his eye.

“I am single at the moment,” admits the 23-year-old. “If there was a nice girl in there and I got on really well with her, who knows what would happen?!

“A bit of eye candy would be nice so hopefully there will be a beautiful girl.”

He added: “I am actually lost for words because I am so excited. I would like to think that I would be the joker of the camp.”

Laila Morse

Age: 68

Relationship status: Dating

Best Odds: 28/1 Sky Bet

Lack of food won’t be a problem for EastEnders star, Laila Morse, who says she definitely won’t mind if she loses a few pounds.

Laughing, the 68-year-old star, known to millions as Wheeler Dealer Mo in the soap, says she is also not concerned that she will be one of the oldest contestants taking part.

“You don’t worry about who will be in there,” she admits. “All those glamorous people. We were all glamorous and slim once. You get older, you put on a few pounds and you get a few wrinkles. I am healthy and I am strong. That is important. “Will it be a bonus losing weight? Of course! I will go to Australia, have a load of horrible stuff and lose weight!

Admitting she would rather not come face to face with a cockroach, the brave actress reckons her own motherly instincts will definitely come into force around the campfire. “I do think I will be the mum in the camp,” she says. “I hope I am a shoulder to cry on.

Lucy Pargeter

Age: 36

Relationship Status: Engaged

Best Odds: 12/1 paddy Power, Sky Bet

Taking part in I’m A Celebrity was a ‘spur of the moment’ decision for Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter and now as she prepares to head in the jungle, she admits she is terrified.

The popular TV actress, who plays Chas Dingle in the top ITV soap, reveals she always makes big decisions in her life in a split second.

And so when the offer of a place in the jungle was made, Lucy accepted immediately – a move that has prompted her to question ‘why?’.

“I am bricking myself now about going into the jungle,” admits the endearingly honest actress.

So will the attractive star be stripping down to a bikini? She admits she is packing three sets, including one she has borrowed from her fellow Emmerdale co-star, Zoe Henry, but isn’t quite sure if she will have the courage or not to wear them.

The 42-year-old – who is famous for his role as Carlton Banks on the NBC sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, alongside Will Smith – became a dad to a baby boy, named after him, a couple of weeks ago on the 27th October.

And as he prepares to get to know his British camp mates, the star, who also has an eleven-year-old daughter from a previous marriage, is leaving his wife Angela to cope with the sleepless nights on her own.

“She is not too happy, but sometimes in this business you have to do the things you do and then you have a whole life to make it up.”

Matthew Wright

Age: 48

Relationship status: Married

Best Odds: 14/1 Coral, Sky Bet

For Matthew Wright, facing his lifelong fear of spiders is going to be his biggest ever challenge when he takes part in I’m A Celebrity.

The gregarious and outspoken talk show host is so scared of the creepy crawly that he fears he will cope even worse than former contestant Paul Burrell, who famously squealed on the show as he put his hand into boxes containing green ants, cockroaches and rats in 2004.

And the 48-year-old star admits he has even tried to seek therapy in the run-up to the show, but experts have told him there isn’t enough time to cure his spider phobia.

“I have a terror of spiders,” he reveals. “And based on the fact that I have seen every I’m A Celebrity so far, I will say, hand on heart, you have never seen anyone quite as frightened of spiders than me.

“I am definitely worse than Dean Gaffney and a little bit below Paul Burrell, which is not a position any man wants to be in!”
