Former Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson became the third camper to be voted out of the I’m a Celebrity jungle.
The Loose Woman panellisrt lost out in the public vote against boxer David Haye.
Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec, she said: “I’ve had a fantastic time but I’ve been missing the kids so much, it’s a killer.”
The 54-year-old also said that she had been an avid fan of the show and thought it had always looked easy until she had to survive the rigours of the jungle herself.
She said: “I watch it every year, and you’re sitting there thinking, ‘I could do that, it’s easy’. But then you get here and it’s worse than you’ve ever imagined.”
Linda continued: “It’s much harder than you can ever expect.
“When we arrived it was so dark, the rice and beans were there, we didn’t know where to sleep. Then there were the rats.
“After a couple of days though it’s just like second nature – apart from the starvation.”
A popular figure with her fellow campers, Linda had few complaints about the other contestants.
“I have to say we’ve had fantastic campmates this year,” she said.
Ant and Dec then showed her clips of Eric Bristow’s treatment of her fellow campers, and Linda had a cheeky pop at the grumpy darts legend.
She said: “‘Eric’s just Eric. He’s just as straight as you come.
“He came out of the womb like that and he’s not going to change. I think it’s a form of Tourette’s.”
When asked who she would like to win, she had no hresitraion in picking David.
She said: “I’d like David to win because he’s been the biggest surprise. He’s changed minds, he’s been funny and helpful to everyone.”
