X-Factor Jayson hits back a tabloid claims

X-Factor contestant Jayson Newland has today hit back at tabloid claims that he insulted Nicole Scherzinger, made comments about violence to women and also joked about the holocaust.

Jayson released the following statement to DAILY SPORT Entertainment: –

Twitter is virtual and everyone gets angry with TV shows and twitter is the forum to express your emotions.

We get roped up into Fictional and Reality drama and YES we do tweet it as an expression but it’s not real.

Social networking now has become a part of everyone’s every day lives.

So split second tweets don’t determine me or my character as a Real Person.

Nichole in real life is a lovely spirited being and has helped me on my journey on X-Factor, on and off camera that’s the truth. She gives the most amazing cuddles

As for violence! I don’t condone it one bit. There are so many people that are victims of violence and I have been 1 of them.

My school years were not the best with my nose broken 3 times from the outcome.

But you have to have a tough shell to get by in this world and be positive.

That’s my past but it makes me the man I am today.

My twitter comments were flippant but I can see how it can cause offence. So for that I apologise for the upset, I have a dark humour which is no cause for concern.

Those tweets were made last year and like my bullying it’s in the past and I have grown since then.

Would like to thank X-Factor for this life changing experience.
