A Diamond In The Rough

Miss Attitude looks interesting as an each way option ahead of the Listed Lansdown Stakes at Bath this afternoon with the Jack Channon team in good form and a race under her belt this season, but she will need to be at her peak to get the better of Karl Burke’s Beautiful Diamond who is a year younger and has the better form in the book.

Last seen when beaten a neck at Ascot in the Rous Stakes on October, but her earlier form is what really stands out. She win at this level at Ayr in September but better still, she was only beaten a length and three-quarters by Believing at the Curragh in the Group Two Sapphire Stakes last summer, for me the best form on offer here.

As usual at this time of year, we are taking her fitness on trust after six months off, but if she is ready to roll, she can hopefully give the weight away to her rivals this afternoon.
