With Ffos Las abandoned I have needed to regroup but luckily for me, Olly Murphy unleashes The Bluesman for his first start over fences in the 12.52pm at Southwell, with Sean Bowen in the saddle. Formerly with Paul Nicholls, he won a bumper at Chepstow on his third and took a maiden hurdle and then finished third at the same track, but he has always looked the sort to do so much better over the larger obstacles. Reported to have schooled well he does have a proper test with the likes of As Legends Have It in opposition, but if he is as good as they think he is, I am fully expecting a winning performance.
