Dandana heads off to Salisbury this afternoon where I feel the daughter of Blue Point has every chance to get back to winning ways in the rescheduled Group Three Dick Poole Stakes at 3.25pm.
The winner of her first two starts at Kempton and Ripon, she pulled too hard to ever get home on faster ground at York in the Group Two Lowther Strakes, beaten over five lengths at the line, but I not believe that was her true running.
A more forgiving surface here ought to be ideal, and if she does get too excited in the preliminaries and settle better, I can see her running a huge race at this level.
